The carling cup first round draw see's the shakers play Burnley at Gigg Lane

The Clarets ended last season in disappointing fashion as they failed to make the play-offs and were hammered 5-0 at Crystal Palace on the final day of the campaign.

Bury, by contrast, ended the season strongly after Alan Knill was placed in charge and led the club to League Two safety.

The tie will be played in the week commencing August 11.
