Efe Sodje is still in negotiations with Gillingham about cancelling the last year of his contract.
The Shakers are still waiting to see if they can get their hands on veteran defender Efe Sodje who had a successful loan with them at the end of the 07/08 season.

Sodje is currently still in negotiations with Gillingham about cancelling the last year of his contract, Bury manager Alan Knill has stated he would like to talk with the 35 year old Nigerian defender once he has finished negotiations with Gillingham.
Efe has already stated in the past that he would like to move north as he owns a property in the north. Sodje enjoyed his time on loan playing for Bury where he made a good impression on the shakers supporters.
Should he successfully negotiate a deal with Gillingham the only thing that could hinder a move to bury are his wage demands that are thought to be fairly high.
